Packers Rule, Steelers Drool!!
Today is a BIG day in our family. Today is the day that the Packers are going to the Superbowl and we are VERY excited!!! We've practiced our cheers, chants, and touchdown dances in preparation for the big game. Mommy is ready to make all sorts of Super Bowl goodies and food and Daddy is nervously awaiting the Packers chance at victory. 
We're number 1!! Charity doesn't quite have it down yet, but we have it all figured out. Daddy will be wearing his jersey, we're set in Packer paraphernalia and Mom is even wearing a green tank under a white shirt.(Further evidence that she is getting soft in her old age. Wearing one of the Packer colors? No way! Years ago, this would have never happened. But now, after years of sadness, disappointment, and defeat, she settles into the realization that the Vikings may NEVER make it to a Superbowl. In fact, she may even don Daddy's old Bret Favre's Packer jersey---the irony is not lost on us.)
Felicity: Now listen, Charity. Football is serious business in our house. Serious.
And what Super Bowl preparation would be complete without a little tackle football in the living room before the big game? Pile on Daddy!!!

Thaddeus and I would like to see the picture of Amy in the Brett Favre Packer jersey to hang on our wall in victory , :)
I put the jersey on and had to take it off immediately. Jared agreed. It was as though the earth had tipped on its axis. Some things just aren't right. This is one of those times, when the rhythm we have going of pure rivalry, must stay that way :0)
Amy, I am glad to see you quickly took that jersey off and realized that no matter how poorly the Vikings play it is NOT cool to be a Packers fan!! :). Glad to see you guys enjoyed the game!! Jared is lucky to have such beautiful girls surrounding him.
