Hello! We apologize for the blogging absence while our mommy has been recovering from surgery. She's doing well, resting (although Daddy says she is BAD at resting!), and we've had so much fun hanging out with our Grandmas.
Last weekend we went to BOO at the ZOO at the National Zoo. We had fun collecting goodies, seeing the animals, and flitting around as Monarch butterflies:

Elyse: I was sad to hear that Mommy had to stay home in bed. It was a big BOO-HOO for me before we left:
But then I got to put on my new fancy shoes and all was right with the world:
We sure are lucky that we had our Grandma to take care of us. We didn't miss a minute of fun!

How cute! Thanks for letting me come! I sure had a great time with you girls. Those are great pumpkins you carved with your Grandma Butcher-don't eat all your candy at once!! Love to all!
