In between these two hills, you could see all the way to Downtown Denver and even all the way to the airport!
People kept saying, "Wow! Twins!" And then they'd act like it was both crazy and cool that Mom and Dad were hiking with us. I guess it was pretty adventurous of them. But what else would Coloradans do? Besides, we might not be in this state much longer, so we have to do these Colorado activities before we leave.
Three cheers for being out and about.
This is nature. Take it in!

Sisters
I'm smiling because you're my sister, I'm laughing because there is nothing you can do about it!
Mom grabbed these pics of us while trying to get a good picture for a thank-you card she made. Aren't we silly? We just love playing with each other!

California Dreamin'
Our parents would love to take us on our first vacation to San Diego in August. Mom bought us these adorable swimsuits for summer fun and for our possible upcoming vacation. We know with these shades and suits, we'll fit right in at the pool and at San Diego's sandy beaches!

Ready to hit the road
Elyse: White hat. Check. Cute pink t-shirt. Check. Adorable capris with lace detail. Check. Pink shoes with white flower. Check. Great, looks like I have all of the necessary items for a stylish and cute outfit. I'm all set for an afternoon on the town.
Elyse: Felicity, what's wrong? Don't you just love our new hats? Don't cry, just remember what Mom always tells us: "Fashion isn't always easy, but it's always worth it!"
Felicity: Yikes! Are you sure Mom? I don't know if this white hat compliments my complexion. I'm still very skeptical about it.
Felicity: Still skeptical...but you're starting to convince me...

Cute Candids
Elyse: Whew! It's exhausting being cute!
Felicity: Do you people get how hilarious my mom is? Today she danced around the house singing silly songs to me and I found it seriously entertaining!
Felicity: Come on mom, that was funny. Don't stop!
Felicity: Mom takes us out and about town all the time and we love it. This is what happens when we get home...pay no attention to the drool coming out of my mouth.
Elyse: I love a catnap after a long hard day of shopping!

Birthday Fun with Olivia and Grace
One really fun thing we did on our trip was celebrate our cousins' birthdays at a big family party. Grace turned 6 and Olivia turned 4. We had cake and lots of fun! (okay, so we didn't actually have cake, but everyone else did and they said it was really good. Besides, our mom tells us how wonderful cake and frosting are, so we are looking forward to it next year on our first birthday!).
Olivia and Grace
This is Olivia and her new American Girl doll. Mom and Grandma Beck are SO excited for us to be old enough to have our own American Girl dolls. Mom tells Dad that he should be prepared to take many fun trips to the American Girl Doll store in Chicago! As you may have guessed, he is just thrilled with this news.
Grace and Emma
The birthday girls and their princess cake. Yes, you guessed it, family get-togethers with 7 girls are just filled to the brim with PINK, PINK, and more PINK!

More friends and fun
Here are our friends Ashlee and Jenna. We were so excited to meet them! They are friends of our Mom and Dad and were both in their wedding!
Grandpa and Grandma Beck had so much fun hanging out with us! We were very happy that they had lots of times to babysit us.

Meeting lots of new people!!
This is Mom's friend Brie, holding Elyse in Mom's office at Crown. She is a very stellar person that Mom hopes we can spend lots more time with in the future.
Great-Grandma Butcher and Elyse
Dad's grandparents came to the Twin Cities from their Wisconsin farm to meet us for the first time. We can't wait to see them again on their farm in July for the yearly July 4th celebration! Fireworks, here we come!!

Elyse: Future Economist
Elyse: You see, I was thinking that my recent foray into the world of expensive formula is really allowing my parents to help the ailing economy...
Elyse: And might I add one more point I've been pondering... I also believe that the very nature of having twins helps the economy as my parents are forced to buy double of everything, pouring lots of money back into the marketplace...
Felicity: Elyse, you are so boring...I'm just going to get comfy and take a nap..

Grandpa Beck Visits
Grandpa Beck came to Denver for business and to visit us for the first time! We have had lots of fun with him. We took him to breakfast at a really good restaurant in Downtown Denver. He, of course, loved it as he is a huge breakfast fan!
Grandpa Beck is also helping us on our first plane ride! We are going to MN because Mom has to work and we want to meet everyone there. Grandpa will hold Felicity and Mom will hold Elyse. We are sure it is going to be quite the adventure. There will definitely be more pictures to come of our big adventure.
